Feely 450 Sport Bike is an internet sensation of 2018, enabling the lesser known Chinese brand for better chances of survival in foreign markets. Before this bike could physically reach some other market, the images were successful in creating curiosity among young riders.
Feely Motorcycles have plans of revealing more models in the coming months, leaving them the best chance to make a successful entry in their home market. Coming back to 450, this typical model is a SuperSport motorcycle with design similarities to several successful Honda and Kawasaki bikes. The front comes with dual headlights, USD forks, and twin disc brakes.
The engine powering Feely 450 is a water-cooled, twin cylinder 450cc unit producing 36 BHP and 35.25 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Zongshen, the Chinese automotive brand, manufactures engines for this visually impressive machine.
Feely 450 comes with LED powered lights, mouth-watering overall stance, and eye-catchy exhaust design with twin exits. Instrument console on the motorcycle features round tachometer, digital speedometer, and gear indicator lights. The unit is very basic in comparison to other bikes of this class. They are also working on 471cc adventure motorcycle and, Honda CB300R inspired street motorcycle.
Feely 450 is an impressive sportbike with a neat full fairing, low rider seat height, and aerodynamic front fascia. They have not mentioned the overall weight for this motorcycle but, one can expect the same to be heavier due to cost-cutting practices.
It will not be an India specific product and thus, direct competition, internationally, will remain within Chinese brands only. Indian market is yet to see brand entering this space as one can buy a 300cc sportbike but will need to jump directly to 650 for more action. Benelli could be the first brand to bring 450cc products to India as they have a long list of pending launches on their side.
